Introduction

The Beatles popularized the phrase, "Try to see it my way," in a popular song a few decades ago. I suppose that is the intent and purpose of this blog. My mission is to offer a perspective on life to which many of us may relate. Years ago, "Concepts of Nonsense" was born as a humor column at the Traveler, the student newspaper of the University of Arkansas. It has been dormant for some time now.
Life offers a myriad of challenges and everyday occurrences that often give us pause and leaves us scratching our heads. Humor may often be found when we realize that others commonly share our perspective upon things ... have thought the same things, have said the same things, have been involved in similar circumstances while all along we thought we were the only one. It is often a matter of pointing out the obvious. For example, who among us has not given the cautionary glance over each shoulder before biting off a toenail?
I hope these ramblings allow you, the reader, an opportunity to find the humor and gain some perspective on this challenge we call life.
